Introductions

Matilda Jurdal Thulin
Program Coordinator

Matilda was born and raised in Sweden but moved permanently to the US two years ago. Matilda has a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences and has prior experience in the social worker field as both Governmental Case Manager and Group Home Assistant for people with intellectual disabilities.

Matilda’s philosophy is to always have a client centered perspective which empowers our members and encourages autonomy. She coordinates the program, but she is always curious about what the members want and for them to express themselves during member meetings.

Angelica Guterson
Program Assistant

Angelica was born and raised on Bainbridge Island and has a background in childcare and being a teacher’s assistant at the Madrona Waldorf School in Winslow. Angelica has a bachelor's degree in Human Services and also has experience working with individuals with both physical and intellectual disabilities at Easter Seals camp and within foster care in Seattle.

Angelica values increasing independence in our members by encouraging them to problem solve and to express themselves to the best of their abilities. Angelica is great at coming up with creative activities that engage our members.
